The Fortishred 5850C is a TAA compliant high quality cross-cut shredder with a P-4 security level. It comprises the capacity of shredding not only staples, junkmail, CDs/DVDs, credit cards and paper clips but a lot more. This 5850C cross-cut shredder features safety shield option which automatically stops the shredder when opened and with the auto oil lubrication, the overall cutter performance is enhanced by prolonging the shredder life.

With reference to continuous shredding of sheets, the Fortishred 5850C is capable of shredding 28 - 34 sheets of paper per pass into 377 (5/32” x 1-1/2” Security Level P-4) cross-cut particles to enhance security making it ideal for departmental use. For efficient jam free shredding, this Fortishred 5850C is equipped with a sheet capacity sensor. Additionally, having a large waste bin of size 26.5-gallons the user will not have to empty the bin more frequently. 

In case you’re worried about the shredder making noise then the Fortishred 5850C cross-cut shredder comprises silentshred feature for performing ultra-quiet operations to minimize noise in shared workspaces. This energy efficient shredder shuts off automatically after 30 minutes  of inactivity.
