Overview

Fellowes Powershred C-480C is a cross-cut shredder that can shred documents, credit cards, staples and small paper clips. It is also provided with a designated safety slot for shredding CDs. Having medium security level, the C-480C is perfect for the offices having moderate security requirement. Its ability to serve 10 or more people makes it suitable for large offices. The heavy duty 1.9 HP thermally protected motor is capable of cutting 22-24 sheets into 5/32" x 1-1/8" confetti particles with the speed of 14 feet per minute. The shredder provides the maximum protection against the paper jams. It comes equipped with the NEW Turbo Jam Release button for quickly clearing the jams. The shredder accepts continuous feeding of 132-column paper with its 16" wide feed opening. Its auto start/stop function contributes largely in operating it conveniently. To hold the shredded waste, it is equipped with a 37.5-gallon wastebasket. Its pull-out mechanism allows the users to dispose it easily and safely. When the waste basket is full, the safety switch turns off the shredder and alerts the user with the indicator light. It resumes the normal operation on clearing the basket from the waste. Similarly, the safety switch also prompts in the events of paper jamming or if there is any problem with the shredder door. The shredder door can also be used as a storage place for placing shredder supplies such as oil bags and manuals, etc.
