Overview

Fellowes Powershred C-480 is a powerful cross-cut shredder designed for large offices with 10 or more users. The design of this shredder makes it fit into any sort of office decor. Its heavy duty 1.9 HP thermally protected motor cuts 36-38 sheets into 7/32" strips "at a pass and at the speed of 20 feet per minute. Its jam proof mechanism is equipped with the NEW Turbo Jam Release button for a fast and easy way to get away with jams. It also has an extra wide 16" paper entry that allows it to accept continuous feeding of 132-column paper. In addition to documents, the shredder can also shred credit cards, staples and small paper clips with maximum security. The shredder also features a separate safety slot for the purpose of shredding CDs.

With electronic auto start/stop function, the system is quite easy to use. It is equipped with a safety switch and an indicator light. The safety switch shuts off the user and the indicator light alerts the user in the events of paper jam, full wastebasket or opened door. The wastebasket has the capacity of 37.5-gallon and is easy to dispose with its pull-out mechanism. The shredder also allows the users to store various supplies such as oil bags and manuals in its door.
